Mickey Mouse Cookies

A very sweet friend of mine asked me to do some Mickey cookies for her family to take on their trip to Disney, of course. This was my first real order so I set out on google to find a cute design. I came across this blog: www.thecookiemama.blogspot.com She has the cutest cookies. So the credit here for design goes to her. Thanks Shannon!! They sure did turn our cute!!!

Thanks Megan for being my very first customer!!!

Orange Conference Cookies

At the end of April my husband took a group of volunteers from our church to the Orange Conference in Atlanta, GA. He made special goody bags for each of them so I made some cookies to match their logo and added them to the bags.

Here is a picture of their logo:

Here are the cookies I did all bagged up and ready to go:

Rapunzel Doll Cake

Here is a picture of my very first doll cake that I did for my daughter's 7th birthday party.
(I will do a post later of the step by step process with pictures.)

Baby Shower

Here are some sweet little baby buggies I did for precious Maggie Claire. Just a simple iced cookie with her monogram on them.

Here they are all packaged up!!!

Wedding Cookies

These are some wedding dress cookies I did for a Bridal Shower. These were tedious but they turned out so cute!!

Here is what they looked like packaged:

Teacher Appreciation Week

These were simple but cute cookies that I did for the entire staff of Rylee's preschool and I sent a few with Savannah Grace to give to her teachers. When they were all finished I had them bagged with some white ribbon and a note of thanks attached.

Valentine's 2011

These are some cookies I did for my daughter's class back in February. Just your basic iced sugar cookie but then I personalized them a bit by adding each child's initial. This first one was for my sweet Savannah Grace. (she also got a sweet little heart on hers)

Below is the pan of boy cookies.

These are the girl cookies. I took a paint brush and added some shimmer on theirs once the icing was dry and I also did little balls on all the letter points to make them a little more "girly."

About

Hey there!! Welcome to my blog. My name is Anita. I am a wife to the handsome man in the above picture with me and a stay-at-home mom of the 3 beautiful children you see below. I have set out on a new journey of cookie making so I thought I'd journal my adventures through this blog. Although this isn't really a new adventure, my mom started doing cookies with us when I was a child, selling the cookies is the new part of the adventure for me. So welcome to the good, the bad and the ugly of my cookie making business.

Savannah Grace, 7

Rylee Cait, 5

Mac, 19 months

My family and I moved to Rock Hill, SC in November 2010 for my husband's job. He is the Worship and Family Pastor at North Rock Hill Church. (http://northrockhill.com) We love this little community that we have joined. I have spent the last 6 months trying to transition our family and unpack all these boxes!! I'm glad we've made it through the end of the school year so we can all take a break and enjoy some family time and vacation.

Welcome!
